There are three basic types of imaginary places:
(1) Geographical myths and legends (lost continents, subterranean worlds, the kingdom of Prester John, Eldorado, etc.)
(2) Fictional settings, mainly from science fiction and fantasy (the works of Swift, Burroughs, Tolkien, etc.) Fictional settings by one author should be listed under that author.
(3) Recreational inventions, whether (a) interactional (RPGs, micronations) or (b) for private amusement. Role-playing milieux and micronations should be listed in those categories.
