The Metal Gear series started WAY back on the MSX with Metal Gear. Then came Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake (on the MSX 2). After that came Metal Gear Solid (PSX), the VR Missions add-on pack (PSX), and MGS ports to the PC and GBC. The leap to the new generation of consoles (ie the PS2) launched Metal Gear Solids 2 and 3.
This is a mecha combat simulation developed by Bioware and published by Interplay.
