I joined ODP in October or November 1998, and made my first edit the following December. I joined specifically because it's an open source project, and because I know that eventually, somewhere, someone will get some use out of the work I do here. It's also a wonderfully diverse and talented community, and I'm proud to count several editors among my good friends. I became an editall in December 2001, and received catmv privileges in May 2002; I was made a meta in March 2004. The categories listed on my profile are those in which I take special interest, but I edit in many other categories as well.
I keep a daily journal (and blog) on my site. I am a certified sign language interpreter and a student at Gallaudet University. Yep, quit my job to go back to school.
