Wild in Art
Wild in Art creats public art events that entertain, enrich, inform and leave a lasting legacy.
Since 2008 Wild in Art has animated cities across the world, connecting businesses, artists and communities through the power of creativity. Their events to date have enabled more than £15 million to be raised for charitable causes through auctions alone and helped millions of people of all ages to experience art in non-traditional settings.
We have worked with Wild in Art to create The Snowman and The Snowdog sculpture trails in Kirklees and Hemel Hempstead, and The Snowman sculpture trails in Hitchin and at Winkworth Arboretum.
Chestnut Tree House
Raymond Briggs was a patron for Chestnut Tree House, the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire, caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes. We continue to support Chestnut Tree House with The Snowman-themed fundraising initiatives every winter.
British Red Cross
The British Red Cross provide help to people in crisis, both in the UK and internationally. They connect human kindness with human crisis.
From hiring a wheelchair or dealing with loneliness, to adjusting to life in a new country – they’re there when you need them. We are working with the British Red Cross for a second running on an award-winning Kindness Calendar – download yours here.
Support Dogs
Support Dogs is a national charity dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children and adults with various challenging medical conditions. They provide, train and support specialist assistance dogs to across three specific programmes: autism assistance dogs, seizure alert dogs for people with epilepsy, and disability assistance dogs.
We have teamed up with Support Dogs to celebrate 10 years of friendship and fun with The Snowman and The Snowdog and create an activity pack that celebrates pets and teaches children about the different, wonderful ways pets can help people. Download your activity pack here.
ODEON
To celebrate 40 years of The Snowman and 10 years of The Snowman and The Snowdog film adaptations, we have partnered with ODEON to offer families the chance to experience the magical World of The Snowman like never before, with a double bill of both film adaptations showing at 70 ODEON cinemas nationwide.
